When global titanium leader VSMPO Tirus took its first steps into in-house machining at its Redditch facility, the pressure was on to deliver precision, performance, and productivity fast. VSMPO Tirus UK, part of the world’s largest titanium producer, was already a critical supplier to the aerospace sector, which accounts for 99% of its turnover. With titanium demand soaring and customers seeking faster, value-added solutions, the Redditch site expanded to include a dedicated machining facility for first-stage processes-like stock removal and fixture creation.
